NJR Steel has a network of 16 branches located in five provinces. Each branch stocks a wide range of steel products.

Competitively priced steel-related hardware and accessories are also available to service the needs of the cash and carry, DIY and ‘bakkie-builder’ markets. NJR Steel’s core merchanting business is supplemented by reinforcing steel cutting and bending yards and value-added capabilities.

These include:

• A de-coiling and cut-to-length sheet and plate line
• This division can process a full range of hot rolled flat product and slit material. It caters for coils of up to 1500mm wide and has capacity for 25 ton coils ranging from 1,2mm to 6mm in thickness.
• NJR Steel’s structural sawing, drilling and marking line can process steel across a broad range of products including beams, columns, channels, angles, flat bar and tubing. The inlet beds cater for input material of up to 22m in length and the sawing line can saw standard beam stock sizes of up to 533mm x 210mm as well as standard column sizes of up to 305mm x 305mm

• Plasma and guillotining
• Palisade manufacturing.
• Reinforcing Steel Cutting and Bending

These yards are currently located in Johannesburg, Rustenburg, Brits and and Witbank with planned installations for Lephalale, Nelspruit and Durban.

NJR Steel operates a fleet in excess of 130 vehicles with a payload capacity ranging from1 to 28 tons. The fleet size and flexibility ensures prompt deliveries.
