SOCCER LUCKY DRAW: Terms & Conditions

Start & End Dates: The promotion runs during the months of June and July 2026.
Closing Dates:
Lucky Draw 1 entries close at the end of June 2026.
Lucky Draw 2 entries close at the end of July 2026.
Any entries received after the respective closing dates will not be considered.

Promotions in-store are run by the Promoter: NJR Steel (Proprietary) Limited (referred to as “The Promoters”, “us”, “we”, or “our”).

You are entitled to participate in this competition if you are a natural person who is at least 18 years old and a permanent resident of South Africa.
Exclusions: You may NOT participate if you are:
A supplier of goods or services in connection with this competition.
An employee of NJR Steel or a related family member.

Minimum Spend: A purchase of Steel & Hardware products to the value of at least R500 (Cash/Counter Sales only) is required to unlock the opportunity to participate.
In-Store Activation:
Visit your local NJR Steel branch and take 2 Penalty Shots.
Instant Prizes: Each person who scores a goal gets an instant mystery gift. Instant prizes must be claimed in-store at the time of the activation.
Weekly Lucky Draw: Score a goal to be entered into the Lucky Draw to win a world cup soccer ball (1 winner per week).
Grand Prize Entry: Fill in the Entry Form at the counter to be entered into the final lucky draws.
Entry Limits: Unless otherwise stated, each person is entitled to one entry per daily visit where at least R500 (Cash/Counter Sales only) is spent in-store.

Instant Prizes: Mystery gifts for scoring a goal.
Weekly Prizes: A world cup soccer ball (1 awarded per week).
Grand Lucky Draws: In addition to the weekly soccer ball draw, one person will be drawn from both months' entries to win the steel & hardware needed to make two mini goal posts.
Lucky Draw 1: End of June 2026.
Lucky Draw 2: End of July 2026.

Notification: Winners will be notified via email or WhatsApp and announced on The Promoters' Facebook pages.
Contact Attempts: The Promoters will attempt to contact the winner at least 3 times. If contact cannot be made within 3 days, the winner forfeits the prize and a redraw will occur.
Required Information: Winners must provide their name, surname, ID number (a legal requirement under regulation 11(6)(i) of the CPA), delivery address, and telephone number within 24 hours of it being requested, or they will forfeit the prize.
Disqualification & Forfeit Situations: A winner will forfeit their prize if:
They have already won a major prize/hamper in this competition;
They fail to provide Participant Information within 24 hours of request;
They fail to accept delivery after two attempts;
It is unlawful for them to receive the prize.

By participating, you acknowledge that NJR Steel will process your personal information to facilitate the competition in accordance with its privacy policy.
Your email details may be stored for marketing activities, featuring a clear opt-out mechanism.
Winners consent to having their name, surname, and entry displayed on the Promoters' website and social media. Winners may decline to participate in additional filming or photography.

Finality: Regarding the application of these rules and the selection of winners, The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Unforeseen Events: Management reserves the right to amend, vary, or cancel the promotion, rules, or prizes at any time without notice due to reasons beyond their reasonable control.
Limitation of Liability: By participating, you agree to fully release and hold NJR Steel harmless from any and all liability.
